IRS clarifies guidance on e-signature relief

The IRS clarified that its current e-signature relief has not been extended beyond the prior expiration date of December 31, 2021, on more than 40 IRS forms and returns that cannot be filed electronically. The IRS said it is "studying possible further extensions of this option." For more information, see Tax Alert 2021-1606.
