IRS modifies list of countries that have information exchange agreements with US

In Revenue Procedure 2021-32, the IRS has added Chile to the current published list of countries that have an information exchange agreement in force with the United States. Those paying interest to residents of these countries are required under Reg. Sections 1.6049-4(b)(5) and 1.6049-8(a) to report the interest payments.
