Brazil issues new, temporary prohibition on travel from India, South Africa and the UK

Effective October 2, the Brazilian Government announced that air travel from India, South Africa and the UK is temporarily banned, and travelers who were present in, or transited through, these countries in the 14 days prior to their desired travel to Brazil are prohibited from entering the country by air until further notice. Travelers who attempt to enter Brazil in a manner that is not compliant with this new policy will be subject to civil and criminal penalties.
