Valuing customer-related data in a digital economy from a transfer pricing framework

As the global economy undergoes a digital transformation, customer-related data are becoming more economically valuable to companies across a broad range of industries, from advanced manufacturing, consumer products and life sciences to media and entertainment industries. Companies need to understand the transfer pricing implications of these data to be able to properly align profit with value creation.

During this BorderCrossings webcast, we will discuss frameworks for assessing and inventorying customer-related data and valuing them across a spectrum of business models (i.e., data-enabled and data-enhanced models). We will also examine fair market valuations of data and cybersecurity from a transfer pricing perspective.
