IRS announces 2022 increase to 401(k) plan limits

The IRS has announced (IR-2021-216) that the 2022 contribution limit for IRC Section 401(k) plans will increase to $20,500, up from $19,500 for 2021 and 2020. See Notice 2021-61. A Tax Alert is forthcoming.
