Israel implements new policies for international inbound travelers
The Israeli Government recently implemented several measures that facilitate the entry of international travelers into Israel. Effective November1, visa-exempt nationals may apply to work in Israel for up to 90 days without receiving a recommendation from the Israeli Ministry of the Economy, provided they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or they recovered from COVID-19, and they received the final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine no more than six months prior to their work permit application filing date. Previously, fully vaccinated and recovered travelers were required to obtain a recommendation from the Ministry of the Economy prior to being granted an Israeli work permit.
