01 December 2021 Argentina announces new, heightened entry rules for individuals traveling from Africa The Argentine Government recently announced that admissible individuals seeking to travel to Argentina from countries in Africa, or who were recently present in Africa, must quarantine for 14 days on arrival and test negative for COVID-19 before ending their quarantine. All non-Argentine nationals and residents seeking to travel to Argentina must already be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (and they must have received the final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to travel). These travelers are also required to take a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) COVID-19 test no more than 72 hours prior to their trip, and test negative, to be admitted.
