Puerto Rico's Department of State extends due date for filing annual reports and paying annual fees

Following the release of Administrative Determination 22-03 by the Puerto Rico Treasury Department (see Tax Alert 2022-0591), the Puerto Rico Department of State has extended (Administrative Order 2022-03) the due date for filing annual reports, paying annual fees, and requesting the first extension of time to file the annual reports from April 18, 2022 to April 25, 2022. Taxpayers have until June 27, 2022 to file a request for a second extension of time to file the annual reports. If requested, the due date to file the report under the second extension period is August 29, 2022.
