IRS publishes five-year strategic plan for improving taxpayer service and tax administration

The IRS has announced (IR-2022-142) the release of its IRS Strategic Plan FY2022—2026, outlining the agency's goals to improve taxpayer service and tax administration over the next five years, in part by helping to "meet the changing needs of taxpayers and members of the tax community." The strategic plan focuses on four goals: service, enforcement, people and transformation.
