Brazilian nationals traveling to Mexico are no longer eligible for electronic travel authorizations

Effective August 17, Brazilian nationals seeking to travel to Mexico by air for business or tourism must obtain a visitor visa from a Mexican Consulate prior to travel. To apply for visitor visas, applicants must submit an application form to a Mexican Consulate in their country of citizenship or residence along with other required documents. Those who wish to enter Mexico for business purposes must also submit a company invitation letter and remuneration information. Visitor visas are typically issued with a validity of 180 days and cannot be renewed. Upon the expiration of the visa, the visa holder must leave Mexico and apply for a new visa before re-entering the country.
