IRS gives taxpayers in Puerto Rico until February 15, 2023 to file returns and pay federal taxes, due to Hurricane Fiona

The IRS has announced (IR-2022-161) federal tax filing and payment extensions to February 15, 2023, for all victims of Hurricane Fiona in Puerto Rico. These extensions apply to individuals and households that reside in or have businesses in Puerto Rico. The IRS provides a list of eligible locations on its disaster relief page.
