IRS gives Florida taxpayers affected by Hurricane Ian until February 15, 2023 to file returns and pay tax

The IRS has announced (IR-2022-168) that taxpayers throughout Florida affected by Hurricane Ian will now have until February 15, 2023 to file various federal individual and business tax returns and make payments. This relief is provided to individual and business taxpayers in any area designated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. A current list of eligible localities is also available on the IRS's disaster relief page.
