30 September 2022 Mexico announces electronic Multiple Immigration Forms pilot program at select airports The Mexican government recently introduced a pilot program which allows certain individuals to enter Mexico using an electronic Multiple Immigration Form (FMM) without having to obtain a physical one. The border authorities will enter these travelers’ details in the Mexican immigration database upon their arrival in Mexico, stamp their entry date and purpose of their trip (e.g., tourism, business) in their passport, and provide a link from where the travelers can download their electronic FMM. A Tax Alert prepared by EY's People Advisory Services group, and attached below, provides additional details. Document ID: 2022-1475 |
