Global Portuguese consular workers' strike cancelled

Over the weekend, the Portuguese Union of Consular Workers, Diplomatic Missions and Central Services ("the Union") announced that they have resumed negotiations with the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As a result, the global strike that was scheduled to begin on December 5 has been cancelled until further notice.
