UK Border Force strike announced from December 23 to 31

The Public and Commercial Services (PCS) Union announced on December 7, that the UK Border Force will go on strike in two separate periods between December 22 to 31 at multiple airports in the UK. Should the strike proceed, inbound travelers can expect severe delays upon arrival in the UK during the busy Christmas season. Military officers are being offered fast-track training to cover in place of UK Border Staff during this period.
