January 10, 2023 2023-0062 Costa Rica announces new COVID-19-related restrictions for travelers arriving from China Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Effective January 9, individuals traveling to Costa Rica from China Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, or who were present in any of these jurisdictions in the 14 days prior to travel, must get tested for COVID-19 prior to arrival, and test negative, to be admitted. Employers may inform impacted employees traveling from China Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan of the new requirements to avoid delays or complications relating to travel to Costa Rica.
