India announces new COVID-19-related entry requirements for travelers arriving from certain jurisdictions

Effective January 1, 2023, individuals traveling to India from several jurisdictions designated as "high risk" by the Government of India must take a COVID-19 test prior to travel, and test negative, to be admitted. They must also submit a declaration online prior to travel. Employers may inform impacted employees traveling from the jurisdictions above of the new requirements to avoid delays or complications relating to travel to India.
