China suspends issuance of certain visas for Japanese and South Korean nationals

Effective January 10, the Chinese authorities suspended the processing and issuance of certain visas to Japanese and South Korean nationals until further notice. The suspension of processing and issuance of visas is expected to delay the deployment of Japanese and South Korean nationals to China Mainland for assignment, employment or short-term business purposes.
