Northwest Territories budget 2023-24 discussed

Northwest Territories Finance Minister Caroline Wawzonek tabled the territory's fiscal 2023-24 budget on February 8. The budget contains no new taxes and no income tax increases. The minister anticipates an operating surplus of $40 million for 2022-23 and projects an operating surplus of $178 million for 2023-24.
