IRS announces supplemental grant opportunity for 2023 LITC with applications due March 7 — April 18

The IRS has announced a supplemental grant opportunity in www.grants.gov for organizations interested in applying for a Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) matching supplemental grant for the period July 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023. Applications will be accepted from March 7 through April 18, 2023. The maximum grant amount an organization may receive for 2023 is now $200,000, increased from $100,000. Current 2023 LITC grant recipients are eligible for a total grant of $200,000 without applying for this supplemental grant.
