Uruguay removes COVID-19-related travel restrictions for all individuals

Effective February 26, all COVID-19-related restrictions, including vaccination and pre-travel COVID-19 testing requirements, have been removed for individuals traveling to or transiting through Uruguay. All travelers may now enter or transit through Uruguay without submitting proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19, tested negative for COVID-19 prior to travel, or recently recovered from COVID-19 (i.e., tested positive in the 10 to 90 days prior to travel and are no longer displaying symptoms of COVID-19). In addition, they are no longer subject to COVID-19 health screenings upon arrival.
