Brazil reinstates visa requirements for Australia, Canada, Japan and US nationals

Effective October 1, nationals of Australia, Canada, Japan and the US will be required to obtain a visa prior to entering Brazil for business, tourism and other purposes. Nationals of these four countries who arrive in Brazil on or after October 1 will be required to apply online for, and obtain, a visitor visa prior to travel. Additional details including application requirements, processing times and visa validity periods are expected to be released by the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the near future.
