Finland closes last crossing point on land border with Russia

Effective 30 November 2023, Finland has closed the crossing point of Raja-Jooseppi along its eastern border with Russia, days after closing all other land crossing points between the two countries. As of this date, all border crossing points on the land border between Finland and Russia are closed until 13 December 2023. Crossing points may reopen before or after the planned date based on how the situation evolves.
