Albania announces visa exemption for nationals of Azerbaijan

On 1 March 2024, Albania signed an agreement with Azerbaijan that allows nationals of Azerbaijan to enter Albania without a visa for business, tourism or cultural exchanges. The date of implementation of this visa exemption is not yet known but it is expected that the date will be announced in the near future.  The exemption applies to holders of ordinary, diplomatic, special and mission passports issued by Azerbaijan. These individuals may remain in Albania for up to 90 days within a 180-day period.
