Honduras eliminates consular visa requirement for Bolivian nationals entering the country

Bolivian nationals may now enter Honduras as visitors or tourists using only their valid passports (without a consular visa) for up to 90 days cumulatively per calendar year. The agreement came into effect on 17 March 2024. The visa exemption applies to holders of ordinary Bolivian passports that are valid for at least six months who enter Honduras as visitors (e.g., to attend meetings, conferences, training sessions) or tourists for up to 90 days cumulatively per calendar year. Holders of ordinary passports who intend to enter Honduras for a period exceeding 90 days per year or for a purpose other than visits or tourism are required to obtain a visa from a Honduran Diplomatic Mission or consulate prior to travel. Bolivian nationals, like all foreign travelers, must complete an online registration upon entry to, and departure from, Honduras.
