Turkiye rescinds visa exemption for nationals of Tajikistan

On 6 April 2024, the Turkish government announced that nationals of Tajikistan must obtain a visa prior to entering Turkiye for business, tourism or personal purposes. Tajikistan nationals who seek to enter Turkiye from this date onward must apply for, and obtain, an entry visa from a Turkish consulate prior to travel. Applicants may consult the relevant consulate to confirm specific application document requirements and processing times.
