Moldova signs visa-free policy with India

On 10 May 2024, Moldova signed a visa waiver agreement with India, which will enable holders of Indian diplomatic and official passports to enter Moldova without a visa. The agreement will go into effect once it is ratified by both countries. The authorities are expected to issue further details in due course, including the maximum permitted period of stay for eligible Indian nationals under this agreement.
