26 February 2025 Taiwan introduces new Digital Nomad Visa Taiwan recently began accepting applications for its new Digital Nomad Visa. This visa offers an entry and stay pathway for foreign professionals who are employed by companies located outside Taiwan or engaged in self-operated international businesses. Individuals may file Digital Nomad Visa applications outside Taiwan (at a Taiwanese embassy or consulate) or within Taiwan (at an office of the Bureau of Consular Affairs). If they are already in Taiwan and seek to obtain a Digital Nomad Visa, they must apply for it at least 10 working days prior to the expiry of their current authorized duration of stay. If their application is not approved, they must exit Taiwan before the expiry of their current authorized stay period.
