Schengen border controls for March 2025 discussed

As of 6 March 2025, 10 Schengen countries have ongoing border controls. Germany will enact new controls effective 16 March 2025. The Schengen Borders Code (SBC) enables Member States to temporarily reinstate controls at internal borders of the Schengen Area in exceptional circumstances, such as situations of significant threat to public order or internal security.
