On 13 April 2025, Saudi Arabia temporarily suspended the issuance of short-term visas to nationals of 14 countries until further notice, according to recent press reports. The issuance of short-term visas, including business visit visas, tourist visas, and family visit visas for both single and multiple entries, is currently suspended for nationals of Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia and Yemen.
