08 May 2025 Ecuador announces new yellow fever vaccination requirements for certain travelers from four countries Effective 12 May 2025, nationals and residents of Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia and Peru will be required to present a vaccination certificate confirming that they were vaccinated against yellow fever at least 10 days prior to their desired date of entry to be admitted to the country. Individuals aged 60 years of age or older are exempt from this requirement. Ecuadorian nationals and residents, and non-Ecuadorian nationals who remain in any of these countries for more than 10 days will also be required to present a vaccination certificate issued at least 10 days prior to arrival in order to enter the country.
