China announces new visa-free policy for nationals of Azerbaijan

Effective 16 July 2025, nationals of Azerbaijan will be eligible to enter the Chinese mainland for business, tourism or family visit purposes, or transit through the jurisdiction, without a visa. The visa-free policy will apply to eligible holders of ordinary passports issued by Azerbaijan. These individuals will be able to enter the Chinese mainland without a visa for up to 30 days per entry and up to 90 days cumulatively in any 180-day period.
