Colombia's administrative unit staff strike impacts immigration services

The staff of the Colombian immigration labor union has initiated an indefinite “work-to-rule” protest that impacts immigration processes. As of mid-July 2025, there continue to be significant delays in the handling of immigration processes by the Colombian authorities, impacting border entry and exit, visa registrations
and administrative procedures. Employers that employ impacted individuals may inform them of the situation and stay updated with the ongoing developments.
