EU updates visa rules for Turkish nationals traveling to the Schengen Area

The EU recently adopted updated rules for Turkish nationals seeking to apply for Schengen visas. Turkish nationals with an established travel history may now obtain multiple entry Schengen visas which are valid for a longer duration. Effective 15 July 2025, Turkish nationals residing in Turkiye are eligible for a one-year multiple entry Schengen visa, provided they were issued two Schengen visas within the preceding three years.
