30 September 2025 Alaska governor vetoes bill that would have adopted market-based sourcing, and single sales factor apportionment for 'highly digitized businesses' On September 27, 2025, Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy vetoed SB 113 (see Tax Alert 2025-1046), which would have: (1) generally adopted Multistate Tax Compact provisions relating to the allocation and apportionment of income by updating definitional provisions, (2) adopted market-based sourcing for services and intangible property, and (3) adopted single sales factor apportionment for "highly digitized businesses." The legislature could attempt to override the governor's veto within the first five days of the convening of the second regular session in January 2026.
