Denmark launches Entry/Exit System

Denmark began its phased rollout of the Entry/Exit System (EES) on 12 October 2025. The rollout will occur in phases over a six-month period. In Denmark, Copenhagen Airport is gradually introducing the system starting on 12 October 2025 to address any operational challenges, while other border crossing points within the Danish Commonwealth became fully operational immediately upon launch on 12 October 2025.
