Turkiye increases minimum salary requirements effective 1 January 2026

Effective 1 January 2026, Turkiye implemented higher minimum salary requirements, impacting foreign nationals who seek to work in the country. The gross minimum monthly salary for 2026 is TRY 33,030.00 (approx. USD 770.85) and the net minimum monthly salary is TRY 28,075.50 (approx. USD 655.22). All individuals who apply to obtain new work permits or extend their current permits on or after 1 January 2026 are subject to the updated salary requirements.
