Argentina announces visa exemption for certain business visitors who hold a US Permanent Resident Card

Effective 14 January 2026, nationals of the Chinese mainland, the Dominican Republic and India who hold a US Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) may enter Argentina as business visitors or tourists. This policy applies to nationals of the Chinese mainland, the Dominican Republic and India who hold a Permanent Resident Card issued by the United States, who may now remain in Argentina for up to 30 days under the “Businessperson” or “Tourist” categories without an Argentine visa. Those who seek to remain for longer periods are required to obtain the appropriate visa prior to entry.
