23 March 2026 Finland publishes draft proposal on legislative amendments for the removal of third-country nationals and entry bans The Finnish government has published a draft proposal to reform the provisions governing the removal of third-country nationals from the country and the issuance of entry bans. The proposal is expected to come into effect on 12 June 2026. If approved, the proposal would clarify the regulations governing the removal of third-country nationals from the country and expedite the enforcement of deportation decisions in matters other than asylum.
