Venezuela introduces electronic visas for nationals of all countries

The Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently introduced an electronic visa (e-visa) application process for nationals of all countries traveling to Venezuela under the business visa (TR-N) and tourist (T) visa categories. The new system provides an alternative to traditional in-person consular filings and requires applicants to submit visa application requests through a centralized online government portal; however, applicants may also continue to apply through the traditional consular process.
