Saudi Arabia updates Instant Work Visa limits and introduces work permit requirement for Premium Residency holders

Saudi Arabia has introduced changes on the Qiwa platform that affect the use of Instant Work Visas and the employment of Premium Residency holders. Premium Residency holders are now required to obtain a work permit in Saudi Arabia. Employers should review their recruitment and workforce planning strategies, particularly where reliance is placed on Instant Work Visas. They should also assess any potential impact on employees holding Premium Residency status and ensure compliance with the applicable employment requirements.
